Most businesses don't have a marketing problem. They have a business problem that marketing happens to reveal.
I Build What Growth Needs Next.
Marketing was never the destination. It was simply the lens.
Nobody has ever hired me because marketing was broken.
They've hired me because something else was. Marketing just happened to be the department polite enough to mention it first.
Sometimes it's positioning pretending to be an awareness problem. Sometimes it's a leadership team measuring the wrong things. Sometimes it's a business that's quietly evolved while the story it tells the world is still three versions behind.
I've learnt that the best decisions rarely begin with answers.
They begin with better questions.
Has your business changed faster than your strategy? Are customers buying something different from what you're selling? Are you solving the problem you think you're solving? Or, simply the one that's easiest to measure?
Those questions have taken me into boardrooms, product launches, brand transformations, startup chaos, corporate calm, and the occasional rabbit hole that refused to let me leave. A surprising number of those rabbit holes eventually became frameworks. One or two became businesses.
If you enjoy unfinished thinking as much as finished ideas, you'll probably enjoy Between Meetings.
It's where I think out loud, usually before the ideas are fully formed.
The conversations were always more interesting than the campaigns.
Some left behind numbers: 30% growth in qualified inbound pipeline, 26% higher proposal-to-contract win rates, 35% expansion in client accounts, and 18% shorter sales cycles.
Others left behind something harder to measure but just as valuable. A founder with clarity, a leadership team pulling in the same direction, or a business finally telling the truth about itself.
I wouldn't know how to rank them.
If you're curious about the stories behind those outcomes,
Built to Last is probably a better place to start than another list of metrics.
I’m Priya.
I like businesses that ask difficult questions, founders who are comfortable saying "I don't know yet," and conversations that wander a little before they find the point. This website isn't a portfolio as much as it is a collection of things I've built, questions I keep returning to, and ideas that are still becoming.
When I'm not doing that, I'm probably deep into a book that has nothing to do with marketing - fiction mostly, sometimes psychology, sometimes just someone else's life story. Or rewatching a film for how it was staged rather than for what happens in it, which I'm told is a strange way to watch a movie. I'll argue cricket, tennis, football, athletics, or badminton with anyone who'll indulge me, and I've recently taken up pickleball, which I am bad at. Still becoming, apparently, extends to the court.
If you're here because a recruiter sent you, I hope you found more than another résumé.
If you're building something, I hope one question stayed with you after you stopped reading.
And if you're simply here to exchange perspectives with another curious mind, I'd genuinely love that too.
The polished version can wait. I'll reply myself.
